The Higher Professional Technician in SME Management and Business is the professional capable of coordinating an SME with specific skills in terms of developing sales and marketing strategies, developing business plans that support them, and managing information systems. The Higher Professional Technical Course holders can apply to enter degree study cycles through Special Calls, under the terms and deadlines set out in the regulations applicable to that call. 

The Higher Professional Technical Course in SME Management and Business develops the specific technical skills to start a professional activity. Specifically, a graduate of this course will be able to perform the following activities:

1) Collaborate in the different SME management processes, including the innovation and launching processes for new projects or ventures;

2) Calculate financing rates and return on investments;

3) Apply statistics and data analysis as a management tool;

4) Communicate in different ways and for different audiences, including the use of expressions used internationally in the area of management and the use of new forms of communication in the digital age;

5) Use techniques that facilitate teamwork;

6) Interpret and analyze the main financial documents to support decision making in an SME;

7) Develop and analyze investments and business plans;

8) Organize digital commerce processes and models in SMEs;

9) Develop commercial and sales policies for SMEs;

10) Participate in the implementation and management of an SME's management information systems;

11) Streamline the marketing and internationalization processes of an SME.

Candidates who are in at least one of the following situations are eligible to enter the course: Holders of a secondary education course or legally equivalent qualification; Holders of especially appropriate tests designed to assess the ability to attend higher education for those over 23 years old, carried out, for the course in question, in accordance with the applicable regulations; Holders of a technological specialization diploma, a higher professional technician diploma, or a higher education degree, who wish to re-qualify their professional skills.
