Bachelor Degree (1st cycle) in Computer and Networks Security

The Degree in Computer Security in Computer Networks provides technical and scientific training for the exercise of various activities, related to the Administration of Computer Systems, Installation and Management of Computer Networks, Programming of Computer Systems and CyberSecurity.

This degree is taught by professors with an academic career and by specialists who carry out professional activities in high level companies. The transmission of skills follows a study model of learning by doing. This model is based on mostly practical training using labs equipped with the same equipment, or very similar, to what is found in the job market.

This degree has several competitive advantages: it prepares graduates to help companies deal with the growing number of computer attacks; reduces the effort (monetary and temporal) to integrate recent graduates into the labor market; it trains people to be capable of developing and testing software with secure programming principles, thus reducing failures at the software level and preventing them from being exploited.
