Post-secondary Specialisation Programmes

The Post-secondary Specialisation Programmes (TeSP) are the newcomers to P.PORTO, and are organised around four school semesters (120 ECTS), which include a semester for a vocational work placement (30 ECTS).

Upon completion of the Programmes, students will be awarded a Senior Technical Officer Certificate, corresponding to a level 5 in the National Qualifications Framework. This makes it possible for them to apply to P.PORTO's undergraduate courses, without the need to sit entrance exams and with some ECTS credited.

Candidates should: have either finished secondary education or have an academic equivalent diploma; hold a senior technical officer certificate, a technological specialisation course diploma or an undergraduate degree. Students who still have not finished their secondary education but completed successfully all the subjects in the 10th and 11th grades can be deemed ready to enrol if they pass a competency assessment exam carried out by P.PORTO. The same applies to any Mature Student who has passed the exams required in the Mature Students' Admission process.
